Needs

There are many items we can use in our day to day operations. There are also some items we are not able to use due to the level of need, limited storage or other reasons.  If you would like to make a donation, please contact our Family Promise Day Center at 608-328-2600 with any questions you may have.

IMPORTANT TIPS ABOUT DONATING

  • The standard measurement of the alcohol content of drinks is alcohol by volume (ABV), which is given as the volume of ethanol as a percent of the total volume of the drink. On average, the ABV for beer is 4.5 percent; wine, 11.6 percent; and for liquor, 37 percent, according to William Kerr, senior scientist at the Alcohol Research Group of the Public Health Institute.
  • By comparison; most mouthwashes contain 21.6% alcohol. We want to provide a safe environment for all we serve and therefore, ask that you consider NON-ALCOHOLIC mouthwash when donating.

  • When making hygiene kits with Ziploc bags; do not place snack foods, candy bars etc., into the same bag as soaps and deodorants. The perfume from these items is absorbed by the food products and makes them inedible resulting in the disposal of the food items.
